Description
Voskehat is an ancient white variety indigenous to Armenia. This example has aromas of flowers and chamomile accenting notes of pear and melon on the nose. Medium bodied on the palate, the delicate fruit flavors are rounded out by a pleasant note of mountain herbs, all supported by enough refreshing acidity to carry the flavors forward. Light enough to be at home with a salad of arugula leaves with a simple dressing, but weighty enough to accompany roasted white fleshed fish, herb crusted chicken, or grilled eggplant served with chopped green herbs.
